Who is PACE?

A group of Parents of middle school students in Everett who are taking a stand against underage drinking, smoking and substance use by teens in our community.

Resources & Research

Working with the Cambridge Health Alliance, the City of Everett and the Everett Community Health Partership (ECHP),we create resources to help parents and families. PACE researched into local and national data on substance use by youth, reviewed many social marketing efforts, and held focus groups with Everett parents to form the Power of 6 campaign.

Dropping friends, quitting activities,
missing school, declining grades,
discipline problems, missing money, secrecy, irritability, aggressiveness, and depression.

Part of preventing teen alcohol use is knowing what to look for so that you can intervene as quickly as possible.
